EON Card is a debit card available at any UnionBank Branch in the Philippines and can be used to verify your Paypal Philippine Account. Meet the following requirements to ensure success of verification.
  • Active EON Card – You must have completed the process of enrolling you EON Cyber Account before taking further steps in linking your debit or credit card to Paypal.
  • $1.95 Deposit or peso equivalent (P200.00) to your EON Card. Important process to for Paypal to verify the validity of the card being linked.
How to Verify your Paypal Account with EON Debit Card

  1. Log in to Paypal, click Lift Limits Tab and add EON VISA Debit Card
  2. Complete the Form to Link and Confirm your Debit or Credit Card. Remember EON is a VISA type card. Enter 16-Digit Card Number, Expiry Date and Security Code(3-digit number at the back of the card)
  3. Click Save and Continue and Confirm your Verification Process. Paypal will now charge your card with $1.95.
  4. After 2-3 banking days phone their 24-hour customer service number at (632) 84186 and ask for the Expuse Number  or 4-DIGIT Paypal Code or specifically inquire for any $1.95 charged transaction with the 4-DIGIT Code. You may also call the following contact numbers: Domestic Toll Free 1-800-1888-2277 or Universal Toll Free IAC+800-8277-2273 indicated at the back of the card. Remember: Paypal does not email 4-DIGIT Code or display it on your account you must obtain it from your credit card statement or bank statement from UnionBank.
  5. Verify Paypal with your 4-Digit Paypal Code. Login to Paypal and enter the 4-DIGIT Code you obtained from UnionBank. You will receive confirmation that your account has been verified. After 4 days the amount charged or the $1.95 will be credited back to your Paypal account.
You may now start using Paypal to make secure payments online! Whenever you are using Paypal you don''t need to enter your credit card details while paying, Paypal will act as a middleman to process the payments.
