How to Add UnionBank in Paypal
  1. Login to Paypal and to your Profile tab click Add Edit Bank Account.
  2. Enter UNION BANK OF THE PHILS and 9-Digit Bank Code for UnionBank: 010419995. Please note your Name and Billing Address on your PayPal account must match with the name and billing address on your UnionBank Cyber Account. If it does not, your withdrawal request may be rejected by Paypal.
  3. Review your bank information and click Add Bank Account to confirm.
  4. Once you have successfully added your bank account, you’ll see the confirmation: You have added a bank account on the next page.

How to Withdraw Money from Paypal to UnionBank
  1. In Paypal click the My Account tab and then click the Withdraw sub tab.
  2. Select the bank and amount to be withdrawn, UnionBank. Withdrawals amounting to Php 7,000 or more are free of charge, otherwise a fee amounting to Php 50 (amount may vary depending on bank policies) shall be debited from the total amount withdrawn.
  3. Confirm the transfer. It usually takes 5-7 business days for funds to reach your bank account.
  4. Log-in to your UnionBank Cyber Account Online at www.unionbankph.com to confirm the receipt of the amount withdrawn or just check your EON Card using the ATM. You can withdraw money using the UnionBank ATM in any branch or over the counter.
 
 
EON Card is a debit card available at any UnionBank Branch in the Philippines and can be used to verify your Paypal Philippine Account. Meet the following requirements to ensure success of verification.
  • Active EON Card – You must have completed the process of enrolling you EON Cyber Account before taking further steps in linking your debit or credit card to Paypal.
  • $1.95 Deposit or peso equivalent (P200.00) to your EON Card. Important process to for Paypal to verify the validity of the card being linked.
How to Verify your Paypal Account with EON Debit Card

  1. Log in to Paypal, click Lift Limits Tab and add EON VISA Debit Card
  2. Complete the Form to Link and Confirm your Debit or Credit Card. Remember EON is a VISA type card. Enter 16-Digit Card Number, Expiry Date and Security Code(3-digit number at the back of the card)
  3. Click Save and Continue and Confirm your Verification Process. Paypal will now charge your card with $1.95.
  4. After 2-3 banking days phone their 24-hour customer service number at (632) 84186 and ask for the Expuse Number  or 4-DIGIT Paypal Code or specifically inquire for any $1.95 charged transaction with the 4-DIGIT Code. You may also call the following contact numbers: Domestic Toll Free 1-800-1888-2277 or Universal Toll Free IAC+800-8277-2273 indicated at the back of the card. Remember: Paypal does not email 4-DIGIT Code or display it on your account you must obtain it from your credit card statement or bank statement from UnionBank.
  5. Verify Paypal with your 4-Digit Paypal Code. Login to Paypal and enter the 4-DIGIT Code you obtained from UnionBank. You will receive confirmation that your account has been verified. After 4 days the amount charged or the $1.95 will be credited back to your Paypal account.
You may now start using Paypal to make secure payments online! Whenever you are using Paypal you don''t need to enter your credit card details while paying, Paypal will act as a middleman to process the payments. I was hesitant to link my credit card to my paypal and was thinking of a safe way to cashout my paypal earnings without exposing  my personal savings account online. How to apply for an EON Card in any Union Bank Branch
  1. Go to any Union Bank Branch within your area and submit the following requirements to the teller:  Accomplished EON Cyber Account Application Form, 2 Valid ID’s with photocopy.
  2. Wait for 10 banking days to receive the EON Card then pay for the card’s annual fee amounting to P350.00
  3. Deposit a peso amount equivalent to $1.95 or P200 to the card. This is an important step before you link your credit card to Paypal! The $1.95 or P200 is the required so Paypal can verify the validity of the card. (to avoid any inconvenience don't deposit an exact amount equivalent to $1.95, the enrollment may be unsuccessful based on experience from one of my friends.)
  4. Wait for another 2-3 banking days then visit www.unionbankph.com and Enroll an EON Cyber Account.

How to Enroll an EON Cyber Account Online?
  1. Validate your ATM/debit card number and PIN by entering your ATM Card Number and PIN Nominate a user ID
  2. Confirm your User ID
  3. Complete the enrollment form

You’re done. You will reach a confirmation screen signifying that your application has been received and can log-in 48 hours later.

Start Using your EON Cyber Account Online
  1. Visit www.unionbankph.com and click EON Cyber Account
  2. Login and  enter your User ID and ATM PIN.
  3. Now you can start banking online. Once your account is active you can start linking it to Paypal to verify your Account.
